The track in question was first released as track six on the album ‘His Glory Alone’ in 2020, which KB himself has dubbed “Trap Worship”.

KB has dedicated this song to his daughter, Nala, who was born in January of 2020 and talks about how she will always be his masterpiece, “Darlin', you're a masterpiece/ Breathin' melodies/ There's nothin' that you have to be/ You're a masterpiece”.

You’re stronger than the lies.

This delightful piano driven piece discusses challenges that will be faced as a child grows up, but says it’s ok to struggle because they can shape you for the better. “I’m looking at a masterpiece/ Oh, you know how to fight, you’re stronger than the lies/ Just know in every scar life leaves/ It’s a brushstroke on a masterpiece”.

As KB is talking about how he can be a comfort in his child’s life. The love pouring out in this song is clear, acknowledging that there will be times of trouble leaving scars, but that doesn’t matter in the eyes of the father figure.

This is a track that proactively supports the message of Self Esteem Month.

This video and re-emergence of the song couldn’t have been timed any better as it came out just before the start of National Teen Self Esteem Month. With themes of love, acceptance and self-confidence, this is a track that proactively supports the message of Self Esteem Month.

The new video for “Masterpiece” is out now and the EP ‘His Glory Alone’ is available on Apple Music, YouTube Music, Spotify and Deezer.
