Released on the 9th of December, they made their announcement on Twitter following the band’s Christmas stream on Twitch to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Much like their 2018 album ‘Trench’, this jolly Christmas anthem was written and recorded in Tyler’s home studio. “From us to you, merry christmas” wrote the band.

The lyrics speak optimistically about this festive season after the pandemic.

The lyrics speak optimistically about this festive season after the pandemic, “'Cause everybody wants to makе it home this year / Even if thе world is crumblin' down… / You rest assured that Christmas saves the year”.

Though this is their first original Christmas single, they have previously performed covers of Christmas classics including “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” “Jingle Bells”, and “O Holy Night”.

In 2014 Tyler, performed "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel" at the Christmas With The Stars performance at Five14 Church in Columbus, Ohio.
