Contemporary worship singer Riley Clemmons released her new single "For the Good" on the 24th of September and it holds a clear and beautiful message. "For the Good" is Riley’s first new release since her album ‘Godsend’ earlier this year.

‘Godsend’ features on our xRhythms playlist, with tracks such as "Headspace" and "In This Moment". This album debuted at no.1 in the Christian Gospel iTunes Chart, which is her greatest debut to date. After this amazing album, it was no surprise that we were excited for her new release ‘For the Good’.

Riley Clemmons is known for her Christian radio hits that encapsulate the difficulties and delight found within relationships and faith. The mix of fresh upbeat pop and church music mesmerise listeners and encourage us to consider the important nature of her lyrics.

Riley has experienced God’s promise over the last couple of years.

"For the Good" is based on one of Riley’s favourite Bible verses of all time and is a powerful reminder of how God can have power over everything that comes our way. Riley spoke to The Christian Beat, and said, "'For The Good’ was born from a season of walking alongside my family as we navigated hurt and loss as a unit”. Through empathy and love, Riley’s family joined together and the song emphasises how Riley has experienced God’s promise over the last couple of years.

The particular Bible verse that helped Riley and her family seek clarity and the inspiration for this single is Romans 8:28. The verse goes as follows, "All things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose". This inspired the title of the song and the lyric, "For the good, for the good. You work all things together".
