Having recently shocked his legion of fans with the announcement of his engagement, pop icon Justin Bieber has now intrigued them by pointing to a Christian book dealing with the topic of relationships and marriage.
He has revealed he's been reading The Meaning of Marriage, the bestselling book by Christian author and Bible teacher Tim Keller. Keller published the book with his wife Kathy in 2011 to unpack the “the Christian understanding of marriage”.
Justin and fiancée Hailey Baldwin have both spoken openly about their Christian faith.
It's very important for everybody to be in touch with their spirituality.
In a 2016 interview with Teen Vogue Baldwin spoke of her belief: “I was raised in church. I was brought up in that life, and I think that it's very important for everybody to be in touch with their spirituality and to have a relationship with God. Not everybody is going to believe in the God that I believe in, but it's something that I'm not afraid to share with people because I know how it inspires me — how it positively affects my life.”
The couple was recently captured together in tears. When asked about the incident by the paparazzi, Bieber responded by showing the book.
This couple is making their faith a big part of their relationship. They were recently engaged, and are soon to announce the date of their wedding.
