American Christian rock band NEEDTOBREATHE released their 7th
studio album 'Out Of Body' in August last year. The title track is now on our xRhythms playlist.

They were picked up by Atlantic Records in 2005.

Founded in Seneca, South Carolina by William “Bear” Rinehart III and Nathaniel “Bo” Rinehart, the band first started playing coffee houses at Furman University. After teaming up with Joe Stillwell and Seth Bolt the group began releasing albums under Seth’s Plantation Studios label, their first release being “The Feature” in 2001. After their releases of the 'Fire' and 'Turnaround' EPs they were picked up by Atlantic Records in 2005 and came to the UK to record their first studio Album 'Daylight'.

However, after twenty years of recording and touring the band announced that Bo would be leaving the band to pursue other interests. In a released statement, the band expressed how much impact Bo had “His vision and heart have played a major role in every aspect of who NEEDTOBREATHE is and his impact will be felt for the life of the band.”

Bo has talked about his artistic vision and his expression during his time with the group on his website Bo Rinehart Studio “Even then, in a full-time music career, my artistic inspiration had found its way into a wide range of expression - from album artwork, design, and packaging to stage production, merchandise design, and creative direction for music videos, photo shoots and design campaigns.”

The remaining members of NEEDTOBREATHE are continuing on and continuing to make music.
